Melissa BergstromMelissa Bergstrom serves as the Director of Choral Activities and Music Faculty at Anoka-Ramsey Community College where she chairs the department, leads two choral ensembles, and teaches the music history sequence in the Associates of Fine Arts Music degree program. Bergstrom received her Masters of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Minnesota and her Bachelors of Music in Voice Performance from Augsburg College. In addition to her work at Anoka-Ramsey, she frequently performs as a conductor, soprano, flutist (classical and jazz), pianist, organist, and composer.

Michael CullotonMichael Culloton is the artistic director of Choral Arts Ensemble, an auditioned 40-voice adult choir based in Rochester, Minn., and Honors Choirs of Southeast Minnesota, a youth organization of four choirs with over 240 singers, of which he is the conductor of the Concert Choir. In 2006, he was named ACDA of Minnesota's Young Choral Director of the Year and received the Vocal Essence/ACDA of Minnesota Creative Programming Award for his work with Choral Arts Ensemble. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., where he studied with René Clausen, and his Master's degree in choral conducting from the University of Arizona, where he studied with Maurice Skones. After completing his Master's degree, he spent a year as visiting instructor of music at Luther College, and then spent three years teaching at Winona Senior High School before moving to Rochester. Culloton will serve as guest conductor of the National Lutheran Choir in the winter of 2008, having previously served as both its interim and assistant conductor for parts of three years.

Erik EspeErik Espe received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities campus in 2003, with an emphasis in Music Education. He subbed in the Minneapolis Public School district before working as a long-term substitute at Washburn High School. Since the fall of 2004, he has been the Director of Choirs at Mounds View High School in Arden Hills, where he teaches three curricular choirs and two extra-curricular chamber ensembles. He also directs two 8th grade choirs at Chippewa Middle School. He would like to thank the Chorale and Kathy for this opportunity.

John HabermannJohn Habermann is finishing his eleventh year of teaching, and has been the Upper School Choir Director at Mounds Park Academy (MPA) for the past seven years. At MPA, he directs the Men's Chorale, Women's Chorale, Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, and Jazz Choir. From 1997 to 2001, Habermann served as Vocal Music Instructor at Centennial High School in Circle Pines, Minn. He has also worked as a church musician for a variety of denominations over the past twenty years. Habermann received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Minnesota in 1995, and is currently a graduate student at the University of St. Thomas. He is in the midst of his thesis study entitled Laban Movement, Conducting, and Expressive Singing.
